Bridge Seat

Just a quick snap when walking past a bridge, for no particular reason, just liked the perspective. There are two little people sitting on the steps at the other end, but they get bit lost in black and white. Might change back to colour later.

Up in Aberdeen for a big energy conference. I thought I'd try and be clever and blip on location, but the internet connection here seems to be snailspeed. So restricted to this one little pic, which has taken 10 minutes to upload.

I was struck by how empty Aberdeen is, having come from Edinburgh, which is already buzzing with tourists. It is completely different here and the centre was very quiet tonight. Can't help thinking that they could market the city better for tourism and get people out at night somehow, but I suppose they have never felt the need with the oil money coming in.
