I received a bit of good news today that called for a wee celebration (all will be revealed in due course). So used it as an excuse to break my diet and crack open a bottle of Sarrabelle vin mousseux (rose) - next best thing to champagne. I know the makers of this fine stuff, in Gaillac, and once helped with the vendange for this very wine. Dom Perignon himself was alleged to have learned in Gaillac the secret of putting the fizz into wine. It's certainly put a fizz into my head!
