Day 1

1st on the lists yesterday, I went in to surgery about 8:30am. But I didn't wake up till 2pm. The op should have lasted for about 90 minuts, so something went awry!

No complications, although, apparently my voice box is a long way down my very long neck, so they had a spot of bother getting the air tubes in and gave me a really sore throat. But apart from that- all plain sailing with very little pain!


oh.... and also, my face seems to be a little swollen!! Turns out the arnica tablets I was prescribed to prevent swelling, didn't have the desired effect!!
