Fallen

The back garden is suddenly covered in fallen apples. We have this problem every year, and it's a constant battle to clear them before the dog gets them. This year, they have stayed on the tree for longer than usual - probably due to the milder weather we had in July. But the past two days have been quite windy with rain on and off - and now they are everywhere. Time to start making apple crumble!
