What we're looking at here is the underneath of a spider. Samuel had trapped it under a cup and put the spider and cup onto a CD cover. By the time I took it all out to the garden the spider had built a messy web across the bottom of the cup. When I turned the cup the right way up the spider remained clinging upside down to the web it had built and had hitherto been sitting on top of.
