High on a hill............x

Up this am, showered and breakfast. The sun was out again and it had dried up from yesterdays rain. Trish called to say we were going up to watch the mountain bikes. Went up with Arwel,Daff's and Trish in the Land Rover.
Went high up looking over the valley. What a view. It was beautiful.
Then went down to the event field and had a burger and cup of tea, then back up to watch the bikes come through stage five. Stage one had been closed after an accident. Wales Air Ambulance were air lifting a rider out of the forest.
Had a great afternoon watching the riders. Can't believe how fast they go. Very funny when they missed the track and ended going off into the tree's.
Proper belly laughter from us all!!!!
Back to the van and cooked tea. Enjoyed a few Pimm's and sat and relaxed.x
