Filterama Challenge Week 3

I created a geometric abstract with a pattern arrangement of small pens (see left image). This was photographed using window light, making the image lighter at the top than the bottom.

In PS Elements, I distorted the square image into an irregular quadrilateral, the outline of which can still be seen in the final image. I copied the image onto a grey square layer.

I filtered the composite image using Filter>Stylize>Extrude (with settings of Pyramids, Size 30, depth 50.

Finally, I adjusted levels, saturation and hue to achieve the brightness and colour I found pleasing.
