Ischgl Day 5 - Maria Himmelfart

Today is Maria Himmelfart, a religious holiday in Austria, and not the day to choose for a quiet drink at the gondola top station. As you can see. When we arrived there was an open-air Catholic service in progress, soon to be followed by much eating of whole grilled chicken, drinking of fine beer, and oompa-ing by the band.

On the other hand it was the perfect day for a dip in the lake at See, because everybody else was up the mountain.
