Today was the last day of my short walking holiday in the Lakes. A few of us walked from Rydal Hall and up Loughrigg. It was a bit grey and damp, but the views from the trig point were spectacular.

Helen, our esteemed leader, brought along Bracken for the walk. Here he is doing his party trick on the trig point.

Arth managed the walk up easily and grumbled only a bit on the way down.

Now I'm back home and catching up on local and family news.

It's nice to go on holiday and nice to come home.

PS Molly - you are still my favourite little collie.
