Buds and Bloom

This is another case where the tangle of buds is just as intriguing as the bloom. Hummingbird watching on the neighbor's patio came up empty today, so I had to move to another garden for this. Today I am thankful we live near people with picture opportunities, because we don't have many in our little yard!!
