Sunset over Kirkie Bing

I was sitting watching the news on TV tonight after dinner and decided that I could get an hour or so's cycling. So much better than watching the world turn to mush. I was glad I did.

After 20mins cycling I was watching the sun set over the bing at Kirkintilloch. Bings or spoil heaps to some are not the most interesting photographic subjects, but this one stands proud on what is basically a wide strath in the Central Belt. The sky is the real star here anyway, the bing just gives us something for our eyes to rest on.
