When The Cat's Away

Shhhh!!

My wife is away for the weekend visiting her parents. This gave me the opportunity to use the remote control thingy I sneakily managed to buy several months ago, when I gave her the slip in Carlisle.

This time I was able to set it all up on a tripod with my best lens pointing at the bird feeder in the garden.

No sign of the visiting woodpecker family today. This was the best of the shots I took without the constant "What the hell are you doing now?"... "Have you nothing better to do?".... "There is some housework you could be doing instead of all that faffing about!".. and the inevitable "And just how much did all that cost?"

Shhh.....don't breathe a word ;)
