Meal Time

Since I have no accompanying email I'm assuming that this was pay day, the last Friday of the month and it seems that Casca has brought their favourite dish, Usepa which are tiny fish.
The white mountain is Nsima, a maize flour and cabbage as well.
They all seem to be eating from the centre which is strange as they all have sectioned plates and they are using their hands to eat which is the usual.
I wonder why there is a treat?
On the farm everyone eats together, but generally men and women eat separately.
