Le chat noir...

... who is for the time being still nameless. We are watching for character traits to give him away...
He is more confident today and has allowed me to stroke him without running away. He sits close and watches us. He has played, explored the living room, purred quite a bit and done some vigorous washing - so all looking like good progress.
I took this by crawling on my belly on the rug, slowly so I didn't startle him, flash off and tapping the carpet to make him look down and not up at my face... the image of me resembling a mad sea lion with a camera would have made a good blip!
