Beyond the pale

Sacrificial trees,
Fulfilling some Disney dream
Of wedding romance.

Picked Sadie up from the kennels this morning and had a lovely walk with her. On the way back I saw these trees at the back of Buxted Park Hotel - apparently they are for a wedding.

This sight makes me so sad and angry - I am assuming the trees were branches already dead, but how crass to replace natural beauty with this travesty.
