Plait Petit

Katie baked this bread more or less by herself. After she kneaded it determinedly, it was her idea to plait it so I cut it and she did a lovely job. This turned into a very filling leftovers lunch for all 5 of us. Malcolm, who has been watching Mary Berry on telly, pronounced it, "a little dense but an excellent effort." Well, it disappeared fast enough!

Howling winds today which we battled back to Fox Lake where we had left some stuff yesterday after our massive adventures there.

Off to London again tomorrow after getting them all off to school so ironing and packing tonight.
