The contrasts in Liverpool

Went with four coaches full of Y12 students to Liverpool today - not brilliant idea on the first day of term - could have done with a bit more time to sort activities and groups and timings, but never mind. The sun shone eventually. Liverpool Hope University was a very agreeable little place with its 7500 students and we got to spend some time round the Albert Dock which never ceases to amaze me with its interesting fusion of old and new. Normal school will be a bit of a shock to the system tomorrow.
