Arum Lily

Arum lilies are wonderful sculptural plants with their large, glossy leaves and white, hood-shaped flowers. This plant was a gift from one of Saturday's guests and is pictured in the conservatory looking down to the garden. I liked the added interest of the hanging window ornament with its chiming bells. It creates a peaceful Zenlike atmosphere! Arum lilies are often grown beside water in shallow pond margins. The nearest this specimen will be to water is the fish motif in the glass frame! However it will be given a large pot of rich moist compost for overwintering.

I applied a crosshatch filter to add crispness to the edges.
