Sparrowhawk

I had been working in the garden this morning and came indoors for a cup of coffee. Sitting in the sun lounge I noticed this very sleek bird sitting on my neighbours garage roof, I quickly went for my camera and using the telephoto lens I was pleasantly surprised to see this Sparrowhawk. What a beauty. He sat there watching everything very intently with those wonderful all seeing eyes. What a stroke of luck, because next to a Peregrine , he is the best looking Hawk in my estimation. So this is one of my favourites. Strange how the Crows and Pigeons all disappeared, not!!
