not totally sure of this ident, as waders aren't my forté, but the beaks look more like the purple sandpiper than other Calidris species? ... i guess what i'm saying is i need a better camera!

quite a busy but fairly relaxed day
strange to come home to no dug, who is off to luxury spa accommodation
probably a quiet night in before tomorrow morning's flight
