The Mystery of the Famous Four...

...on the Secret Island.
Of Adventure.

Our holiday has been spent in a rustic, rusty, haunted house in the Wilds of Cornwall's Bodmin Moor. There are tales of rum-runners and rumours of Revenue Men and the Churchyards are filled with drowned souls.

Near the entrance to the second-best secret tunnel is a Mysterious locked door that leads nowhere and, in the garden that magically appears at midnight on alternate Tuesdays and Bank Holidays, is a Mysterious cave that leads down to Smuggler's (being a relatively law-abiding area, there was only ever one smuggler at a time (on his death bed, he (or she (it was a relatively PC area)) would anoint a successor smuggler)) Cove.

But the most mysterious mystery concerns this photograph which we found in some mysterious place or other. The two figures bear a resemblance to H and myself which, whilst not completely uncanny, is a long, long, long way from being canny. I'm not ashamed to admit that it sent cold shivers up (and then down) my spine.
