The life & times of Jacks

Red Sky at Night.....day 1 in Barbados

We arrived in Barbados about 1pm and it was so hot. We are visiting in the "rainy season" and although we did see a bit of rain it was not enough to reduce the temperature and actually the rain clearly helped keep the fauna on the island so green.

The hotel we were staying at was quite picturesque and the room was more of a 1 bed apartment with kitchen and it was very lovely and spacious. The best part was a nice secluded balcony where we could sip on rum punches and watch the beautiful sunsets.

This holiday was a lazy relaxing type of holiday which was certainly what we needed.

Staying near St Lawrence Gap, we wandered into the gap to have a nice dinner before heading back to an early night - with the time difference it was quite a long long day.
