Maeve

A very big and beautiful deerhound belonging to this blipper and this one!

Maeve weighs in about 37kg, ie 12kg heavier than Ollie, who is not a small dog by any description! Super to see her after hearing so much about her. To watch her walking as if on tiptoe, then dancing and prancing like an Arab mare is amazing, she's a beautiful dog and a gentle giant, but when she is chasing something she is a force to be reckoned with! Easily capable of bringing down a deer!

We met up in St Andrews and had a super walk along the West Sands, not too many people and plenty of space for dogs to run and us to chat without having to keep walking round other folk. Great company of the human and canine variety - what more could you wish for on holiday! Hopefully we'll be able to meet up again before too long!
