Won't You Take Me To...

...Funky Cloud.

Had that misheard earworm niggling away at me all the way home tonight as I headed towards these lenticular clouds hanging about over the carse of Stirling, hardly budging, but slowly merging into one big soft mass as I passed underneath.

Seven hundred and sixteen years ago today, William Wallace, whose monument is pointing out the rare cloud formation, and his troops were also hanging about around the same carse ready for a bit of din-dong battle with the English army the following morning. Hard to imagine this peaceful view bearing witness to such a blood bath.

More Lenticulars spotted around this way last year
