Dakota meets Paladian

This happens to be my 400th blip, and what better way to celebrate it than blipping a wolf photo.

Today we had a private photo tour at the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, near Ramah in Western New Mexico. In particular I wanted to see the wolf called Forest, an Arctic Wolf that I met at a wolf fund raising night in Santa Fe, September 22nd last year. The event was for assisting in the return of the Mexican Gray Wolf to the wild in NM and other parts of USA.

We visited a number of enclosures with our 2 guides, George and Crystal, and Paladian was given a truly warm welcome by Dakota, the brother of Forest.

Bio: The mother of Dakota and Forest was a Timber wolf, and their father was an Arctic wolf. There are five siblings living at the Sanctuary: Dakota, Forest, Sassy, Brutus, and Savannah.

It was an absolutely wonderful day and the 2 hours passed so quickly. We will definitely do it again.
