Brownies...

Bethany started going to Rainbows because her friend who lives next door was going and they go together every week. Bethany is about 6 months older than her friend so she had the option to go into Brownies, the next stage up in Girl Guiding.

There was chat about her just waiting until her friend was going up but, and I sort of did and should have expected that, when the choice came from the actual Rainbow/Brownies leaders, she decided she wanted to go into Brownies.

Tonight was her first night as a Brownie.
