The Calm before the Storm.

We are having one last little night away before college starts again next week. We took a beautiful drive up the side of Loch Lomand, up the Rest and be Thankful, around the top of Loch Fyne, down to Lochgilphead (stopped for lunch) the across to Crinin along a road by the canal which links the Atlantic to Loch Fyne. After a beautiful afternoon watching boats in locks and sitting in the sun looking out over the water, we have retreated indoors for food and sleep. They say there are to be high winds tonight and tomorrow and many yachts have taken refuge by entering the locks and mooring up in the canal. I blipped the iconic wee lighthouse by the start of the canal.
