Good-bye Mas

We move back to the house in the village today, so it's good-bye:-
- to the freshness of the wind when we step out of the door
- to the hugeness of the sky
- to the distant mountains on all sides
- to glimpses of the far away Pyrenees
and to freedom for Jasper to be in or out as he pleases.

But we will be back:-
- to empty the pool
- to attend to the veggie garden
- to walk Jasper
and to give the place a thorough clean.

The kitchen is much bigger and better equipped in the village house, it's much more comfortable especially for Steve at the moment, and there are far fewer insects.

Our friends and neighbours in the village can't understand why we'd rather live out in the countryside than be close amongst other people and everything that's going on, and maybe it's something that is more peculiar to northern Europeans than to those in the south, the desire for fresh air, the natural world and solitude.
