The Corbin Sparrow

Flash back to 1999, and meet the all electric Corbin Sparrow. Only 285 were produced between 1999 and 2002, when the California based company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

I was lucky enough to speak with the owner of this copy, who told me that the car has about a 50 mile range, but could be increased to about a 100 mile range with a battery upgrade. The owner also told me that the car could cruise about 70+ MPH, however this owner much preferred to just stay on city streets. The car even has electric windows.
