A good day out at the ITU World Triathlon Series Final in Hyde Park. Saw some Brownlees, a Gomez and assorted other members of the triathlete species. Very impressive display in not great conditions, but a decent crowd and atmosphere. I was pretty happy to dressed in my waterproof jacket and watching, here I didn't feel that it was the taking part that counted.

Congratulations to Gomez for grabbing a narrow victory and taking the series, despite a stricken Alistair barking tactics to Jonathan over the course of the run. It certainly made for riveting viewing.

And also congratulations the rest of the field, especially the Lone Wolfe who found a pack but then went solo again for the run.
