Sunny Caroline.....

On a north facing trellis with a clear blue sky above, Caroline Jessamine slowly entwines her evergreen foliage and sweetly scented pendulous yellow flowers, she's very pretty and ever so dainty. With tiny buds she opens to the sun showing off her minute white stamens glistening in the light surrounded in a bright cheerful yellow, she's a wee treasure, not rampant at all.

Her scientific name is Gelsemium sempervirens, possibly a little frost tender when young, loves the sun but will settle in part shade.

She fits two challenges:
Rainbow 'Yellow' challenge by Horomaka
Square September challenge by Ambling Camera

I hadn't intended blipping flowers for this challenge but I seem to be spending most of my time working in the garden, so flowers it is for now. I was delighted to see yesterday's Burnt Orange petals reach the spotlight page, thank you so much for your kind words, stars and fav's.

Time for a quick cuppa and then back out in the garden. Hope you enjoy Caroline Jessamine, she hasn't been blipped by me before :)

Happy Wednesday blippers :)
