The Journey

Ok so the title is a little misleading. 'The Journey' was a train ride from Bradford to Leeds. Not exactly epic (20 minutes, infact) but a good opportunity to play with shutter speed (this is Paul's reflection and the reflection of the ceiling lights against the moving sceney; no photoshop apart from a little curves boost).

Went to the National Media Museum in Bradford. Saw Don Mccullen's In England exhibition. Well worth going to, with lots of gritty B&W images. They've also got an animalism exhibition on at the moment, which includes a collection of about 30 primate portraits, the detailed close-ups of their faces covering almost an entire wall and accompanied by a description of their personalities and 'experiences' (they were all either orphaned or maltreated and had been rescued). There was also a really bad exhibiton of a load of tvs showing a woman kissing dogs. And she was really going for it, full-on tongue on tongue. The reason behind this horrific-ness was ridiculous and pointless and reminded me of a lot of the stuff in the Tate Modern.

Then went to Leeds to see Lou and Chris. Lou recently bought the sigma 10-20mm so I finally got to have a go with the lens I've wanted for ages. Oh it's so nice!!
