inspiration

The great Mavis Staples, onstage at The Forum, Bath. She's in my head as the cool, beautiful, swaying, soulful creature singing 'The Weight' with The Band in the film 'The Last Waltz' so it was a thrill to see her, still with that immense voice, on a stage in Bath.

Apologies for the photo though, I was a mile from the stage with my old P&S adn this is the best I could salvage :)
