Rainbow challenge- last day- violet

I have really enjoyed Horomaka's rainbow challenge this week.(Thankyou for organising it.) Especially as I was in Perth for most of it.I arrived back home before daylight this morning, safe and sound. What is more violet than a violet!!!! I have had an African Violet on my kitchen windowsill for a long time. It only had 2 usable flowers, and these were far from perfect. I have turned it into an oil painting.Its an awful wet day so I haven't looked in the garden for what may be out.
