Emergency selfie

A quiet day today. Fixing doors and lights. Weeks shopping bought. Back and forth to Hatfield with Mr H for a badminton tournament.

Cooked a huge pot roast of lamb with roast potatoes and roast parsnips. Very good Jamie Oliver recipe. Lamb on a bed of chopped up carrots, onions, celery and leek. Garlic and rosemary stuffed into the lamb. S+P, bay leaves and a bottle of red wine.

Stuff it in the oven and fours hours later it's all soft and sticky and falling apart. Definitely the taste of Autumn.

I'm starting to feel hungry again now.
