Apologies to those who were hoping that I might finally publish some blips showing what Vilnius is like. I have put some images on Facebook and if I get time next weekend I will transfer them also onto flickr and post a link here. But meanwhile, here's another addition to my collection of European Commissioners speaking at events I'm attending.

This time it's the Commissioner for the domain of research, Maire Geoghegan-Quinn.

Second and last day of the conference. Home tomorrow. Just as well, as my second and final camera battery is almost flat. I should have brought my charger.
