Tuesday 24 September 2013: Phwoar - what a pear!

Spent another day working from home.

The good thing is that I don't have to travel to and from work, so I can commit more hours to actual work and get more out of the day. It's also usually quieter at home - though not when the window installers are singing to the radio...

The bad thing is that when you need to talk to someone who is at work, it's horribly inefficient, chat, email and phone just doesn't make up for face-to-face communication and a pen and a piece of paper!

Today's blip is one of a handful of pears we picked yesterday. The tree had lost almost all its fruit already but there was about half a dozen on the very top most branches which I managed to extract with a six metre long, old fishing rod with a plastic cup attached to the end...

Sorry about the cheesy title but I couldn't resist...!
