Day 5, Cerro Joyazo: A 'young' offshore volcano of dacite with xenocrysts/liths of phyllite and deeper basement. This formed an atol which was covered by a coral reef of mainly porites but some stromatilites, thrombolites and other fossils.
Another fun day, we finished early so did some garnet hunting and were allowed 2 hours in Nijar :)
