It's 80% worrying
10% stress
5% pure undiluted joy
and 30% incentive charts creation (and possibly a dodgy sense of percentages...)
Kids are so easily manipulated, aren't they? A little chart with a few crosses and they will endeavor to meet the targets you set for them, in return for a symbolic reward...
I'd better go, I need to fill in my self-evaluation form before my yearly review with my manager. Last year I narrowly missed a spot on the Dream Team board in the entrance hall, but this year I have good hopes of making it, after all the unpaid overtime I have put in over the last 9 months.
That Dream Team mug will sit proudly on my desk sooner or later, you mark my word!
