In the morning

Took this picture of St. Mary's Church in the village as I walked past this morning. It's listed and bits of it are very old - though most of what you can see in this picture is barely 100 years old as it was extensively rebuilt several times by the Victorians. Ironically like the Eiffle Tour, it's actually hard to see from many places in the village because the tightly packed buildings get in the way. I took a picture of it close up so nothing much got in my way.

After work we went to Winchester to listen to a talk on hydraulic fracturing hosted by FoE and WinACC. I though both speakers did their best to remain neutral and fair in an arena that was clearly pro-renewables and anti-fracking.
