Reaching for the Moon

Hi all sorry about yesterdays downer one and all.
After work today while we were both home during the hours of daylight (very rare it seems these days ) , with rising winds we made an attempt pick the highest apples on the Jupiter and Newton's Wonder trees. With that accomplished a run with the trailer to take hay to the yard to keep Miller in fodder.
While driving back I noticed the classic "man in the moon" phase of the rapidly setting moon. I have in the past struggled with the moon and a dark sky, so was pleased with the above ! Perhaps the Sigma 175-500mm is the difference.
