Clifton Suspendery

Today is World Mental Health Day.

To try to preserve what's left of mine, I took Floss for a long walk in the brilliant sunshine. It was a proper cold autumn day, and the world looked good.

This view is maybe a bit of a Bristol cliche, but I've never tired of it. Hundreds of times I have run along the tow-path on the western bank of the Avon, out under the Clifton Suspension Bridge and six miles along the river to the village called Pill, and then back again. I have enjoyed this view so many times; a small thing, but I am very grateful for it.
