Down by the Lake

What a day! The sun shone, we headed into Bantry for a rendezvous with Bob20 , duckboy and Paul. The designated meeting place was under the statue of Wolfe Tone but I spotted three chaps sporting very impressive lenses way before then. What a great time we had - a quick scone and coffee in Organico then we took them on a whistlestop tour of the Sheep's Head. It was looking its best - amazing colours and clarity. The blipping activity was intense. We blipped from the summit of Seefin (all directions); we blipped down by the sea and then at the lake at Farranamanagh. Here's Bob20 in action down by the lake. Tea and cake in our garden then they headed off in the direction of Healy Pass, possibly taking in most of the Beara peninsula before heading back to base at Killarney. They've had an action-packed week, 1000 miles on the clock already and a similar amount of photos. Really lovely to meet them.
