Almond collecting

Some people hit the almond branches with sticks to knock the nuts down, others have this wonderful contraption on their tractor that opens out like a batwing. It encircles the almond tree and then a separate bit of machinery grabs the trunk and vibrates the whole tree, with the result that all the almonds fall into the fabric net. Clever.
