St. Cuthbert's way

We went to haretanes but took a different path, following signs for St. Cuthbert's way. It turned out to be a really long walk, including crossing a great suspension bridge and loads of beautiful woodland. We walked for a couple of hours, and then cut away from the route, hoping we were heading in the right direction to get back to harestanes. Which thankfully we were.
Turns out St. Cuthbert's way is 60 miles long, from Melrose to Lindisfarne. Phew. Maybe another time........
