Dinner for Eight

The first real dinner party we've had at our New York apartment since the renovations were finished in 2011.

On the left are our friends Didier and his grandson Louis (from Rennes in France). From New Jersey is my son Raphael with Shauna and their sons Nate and Max. Marylee is in the rear. We mixed English and French throughout, and a good time was had by all.

While Marylee was doing final preparations I ducked out to the International Center of Photography (ICP) with excellent shows on Lewis Hine and by Zoe Strauss (I actually talked to Zoe; she was reviewing a slide show in the middle of her exhibition).
