Blue Ceanothus flowers

We've spent a busy day today trying to catch up on gardening. Things are growing so fast at present, and we're not there to keep up with them. As it was calm this morning, we went up early to spray some weeds, then later cut the hedge and tried to tackle some of the weeds not amenable to spraying because of proximity to desirable plants.

Our Ceanothus bushes are flowering well at present. I like the shiny foliage, as well as the attractive flowers that come in many shades of blue.
