Fiery Sun

The Sun has been hidden by thick cloud for most of the day. Once the rain had passed through there were brief appearances although veiled in varying degrees of fast moving cover. There are some developing sunspot groups, AR1877 which is the one with the large spot at lower left, and AR1875 the 'measles' group above it. Both groups have energy which has the potential for M class flares, although neither group is actively flaring as of yet.
