Those coloured columns again

Went for a walk into town, to see if Shandwick Place was finally open to traffic. Much to my surprise it is, although there is unfinished tram infrastructure in the centre of the road towards Atholl Place.The pillars, at the foot of the Mound, have, no doubt, been blipped many times, since they had their multi-coloured makeover, for the Doig exhibition. It doesn't stop them being photogenic, especially when people are colourful too. Met an old colleague, Tonto McDuff, in Saint Cuthbert's churchyard and had a blether about my old workplace.It doesn't seem to have changed in 6 months and neither does he, for that matter.
