Running rest-day ... and I promised yesterday to try and 'find/blip' my first 1983 half-marathon completion-certificate?

Well - guess what ... I found it, and here it is :-)

I would have been 19years and 3months old at the time; and ran the Bath half-marathon (with my brother, who lived there at the time) a good deal faster than yesterday's effort ... I must have been almost fit ;-)

Anyhow - at my (now) extremely advanced stage of life, the main objectives for the 25th May 2014 are simply:

1. to finish the course in any time whatsoever!
2. to raise lots of money for Venture Scotland
3. and to win that pint from my Dad :-))
